Privacy notice.

This notice describes what actually happens when you use instyle.in — both what you send us deliberately, and what your browser requests in the background while a page loads. The second list is the longer one, and most sites do not print it. We would rather you could check.

What you send us

Only what you type into an enquiry form: your company name, your name, a phone or WhatsApp number, an email address, and optionally your city, the solution you are asking about, your monthly volume and a message. Nothing else is asked for, and nothing is required beyond the fields marked with an asterisk.

What loads while you read

Reading a page is not silent, and we should not claim otherwise. Below is every third-party request this site can make. Not all of them happen on every page, and the supplier photographs and films are not fetched until you scroll to the item concerned:

• Google Analytics 4 runs only if you press Accept on the cookie notice. If you accept, it sets cookies in your browser and records which pages you visit, how long you stay, roughly where you are connecting from, and whether you sent an enquiry form or tapped a WhatsApp, call or email link. It reports to us in aggregate; we do not use it to identify you. If you decline, nothing is sent to Google.
• Google Fonts serves the three typefaces this site is set in. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Supplier media. Many product photographs and films on our solution pages are served directly from the manufacturers' own servers — Intercom, Trinity, Kyotex and others in Italy and India. Scrolling to one of those photographs or films sends your IP address to that company; nothing is fetched before you reach it. We are moving this media onto our own domain; until that is finished, the requests are real and you should know about them.
• YouTube embeds appear on the sock-gluing page only. YouTube sets its own cookies when a video loads.

We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, social trackers, session recording, heat mapping or A/B testing tools of any kind.

Cookies

We set no cookies unless you accept analytics. If you do, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_…, which last up to two years and tell one browser from another. YouTube sets its own cookies when you load a video on the sock-gluing page. Google Fonts serves static font files and sets no cookies. We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we do not ask you again. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

What we do with an enquiry

We answer it. That means a reply from the location closest to your factory, and where relevant a swatch pack or a sample run. We keep the enquiry on file so the same person handles you next time. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone outside Instyle Overseas LLP other than the processors named below. Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship is live, and for three years after the last contact; analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months.

Who else handles it

FormSubmit delivers the enquiry forms and passes each message to sales@instyle.in. WhatsApp holds any conversation you start there, under their terms. Google processes the analytics data described above. Our email is hosted by our domain provider. Some of these processors are outside India and your data will cross a border to reach them.

Your choices

Write to sales@instyle.in and ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We will do it, and we will not ask why. If you would rather not use the form at all, every page carries a phone number, a WhatsApp link and a direct email address.

Consent, rights and complaints. Where we rely on your consent (analytics, and your enquiry when you send it), you can withdraw it at any time with Cookie settings or by writing to us. You may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. We acknowledge within three working days and respond within thirty days.
