SHANKBOARD
Merckens produces board suitable for stripes and insoles, used from man shoes up to high-heel women shoes. CJM 888 is required by leading shoe manufacturers.
The insole is the heart of a shoe. High-quality Merckens shankboard ensures a long lasting life for the shoe.

SHANKBOARD
Shankboard has to meet high standards. Pin holding strength, stiffness, hardness, form stability, flexibility and a good millability are as important as water-repellency for changing weather conditions.
The production is controlled electronically.
PATTERN BOARD
For the production of patterns you can use Merckens board in a thickness from 1,2 to 1,8 mm.
COUNTER BOARD
Counters for which a high stiffness is required are used for example for boots and ladies’ shoes with high heels.
Merckens produces four qualities namely CJM 888, CJM 188, CJM 158 and CJM 100, to meet the various requirements, but also within each quality we react to individual requests of our customers.
According to the customers’ requirements we can print our shankboard with “Merckens CJM 888” in black or “Merckens CJM 188” in red.
